The Organic Face - Seduction Lipstick Review

I received this beautiful lipstick from The Organic Face.  It was so awesome to have the opportunity to try this Organic lipstick.  I LOVE, LOVE makeup!  I love all lipsticks and I jumped at the chance to try one by The Organic Face, it is Seduction Lipstick in Burnt Red.

An Organic Cocoa Butter based lip stick that is matte, smooth, and non-sticky. Glide on for intense moisture and smooth color

I am amazed with this lipstick and the color payoff is awesome!  It glides amazingly over your lips and the color is nicely pigmented!  I have tried other lipsticks that are organic and the color payoff is very light and need multiple swipes to build up color.  But, not this one!  It really gives you color as as soon as you glide it over your lips. These lipstick colors are derived from fruit pigment, pretty neat.

LOOK AT THAT PRETTY PACKAGING!  ME LIKEY!

This lipstick is not tacky, or sticky at all.  It is very soft and moisturizing! It is because of the shea butter and jojoba oil.  These butters and oils make skin baby soft so, it's nice for the lips.  I loved how it made my lips look so soft, plus it is organic that's a big plus!   These are formulated without parabens, talc, gluten, bismuth, or perfume.  So you can feel comfortable when using these if you are into natural makeup.

While I don't think the color is exactly matte it does feel nice, it feels like if you had chapstick on your lips, doesn't feel cakey or  like you're wearing lipstick at all.  Very nice.  If you do want to go for the matte look I would apply some translucent powder over your lips with a brush and dab. I would definitely love to try other colors, they are all so lovely and it has difficult to choose!  That Berry Red is calling my name :D

About the Founder
Noreen Diani is the creator and founder of The Organic Face. With more than 18 years experience as a top makeup artist, and with chemical sensitivities of her own, Noreen knew there was a crying need for a chemical-free, organic cosmetics brand that was truly good for your skin and health, but, as a gorgeous, camera-ready makeup, didn't compromise on quality, performance or durability.
Working with so many faces, Noreen had come across many types of skin allergies and different reactions to a lot of the chemicals in makeup products. An allergy sufferer herself, she had been unhappy with the brands of organic products she had tried - she wasn't getting the performance quality and durability she needed for makeup shoots and clients. And the research she had been doing into the chemicals and substances present in conventional makeups led her to disturbing findings about our bodies' reactions to these chemicals. Noreen knew it was time to create her own makeup line that would be safe, non-toxic, organic and chemical-free.
Turning her kitchen into a "laboratory", Noreen spent two years perfecting formulas that were pure, natural and organic - but would function at the highest professional level. And thus, The Organic Face was born.

The Organic Face is dedicated to creating pure, natural, chemical-free organic cosmetics and skincare products made from the finest active botanical ingredients and minerals. Our mission is to create gorgeous beauty products that really work, and are as safe for your body on the inside as they are for your skin on the outside.
